Watching some of Pro Tour Born of the Gods~

Can't wait to see how Modern will shape off as a format.

I'm going to have to watch most of the PT replays as opposed to the actual thing. Get to watch whatever is on today, but tomorrow I'm at a university applicant day, and on Sunday I've got a team sealed tournament which we may or may not get coverage projected during.

I got my permit today. One step closer to being able to do all kinds of different things

I've had my permit for a couple of months and I haven't really done a whole lot of driving.

I've been using my driver's license very frequently since I got it 2 years ago.

I plan on using mine to get a job and drive to my local card shop. Also, to go to school once College starts.

And, I'll be able to  drive to Gencon

Have you ever watched the Pro Tour? The only reason to watch is because of the emotes in the chat.

Whelp, Wind Rises lost Oscar to Frozen. Not entirely surprised.

I have not seen either, but both look very good.

I watched Frozen this weekend. It was good, but I really had enough of the amount of songs there are in Disney movies. Everything is a song.

The world is a very sad place.

Just found out today that an author I admired very much took his life several months ago.

Just makes this day kinda....sad.

So playing Rod in EDH and I just Body Double'd Phyrexian Metamorph to copy the Sharuum he copied from me, then PLAYED Sharuum, then he plays Evil Twin to copy Sharuum XD

Surely.

Well it appears this is the weekend for record breaking in MTG.

Rumours that GP Richmond is the biggest TCG event in history in terms of number of players.

Waiting for confirmation that PTQ Stansted (which I am so irritated I couldn't get to) is the largest non-GP/non-PT PTQ ever at 409 players. And that's in England, which is smaller than most american states.

That's impressive. MtG is truly the best card game we have.

A Modern GP? Great.

Even better is that Chapin's a commentator for the event, so there'll be plenty of blue bias.
