All five "Boon" cards are common.

Healing Salve, Ancestral Recall, Dark Ritual, Lightning Bolt and Giant Growth.

EDIT: Except Recall.

I wonder what kind of decks would be made in modern times if we had Alpha as a set, minus the power nine.

Got pulled out of FNM early tonight because my dad is overprotective and wouldn't let me go home alone. But I went 1-1 match-wise while I was there.

People who complain about Tusk, Thundermaw and Sphinx's Rev confuse me.

I can sort of see a little bit about Thrag but Maw and Sphinx?

I love this format, even if I haven't had the money to play in real life at all

Thragtusk isn't even as hard to deal with as everyone says. And heck, I play counter-less Esper control as my main deck, that really does say how little an impact Thragtusk can have.

It's probably just people bitter over how they can't run the deck themself.

Yeah, the only complaint I see around the forum is how he stalls games. But as I only play online and dont have a time limit I've never cared about that

I'm doing alright. Been working on a Twilight Deck on DN just so I have another Chaos Variant to play. Let's just say I suck at Deck making.

Practice makes perfect though I looked back through some of my old Vanguard decks and they were... shockingly bad. Honestly terrible.

And I never have to deal with him at my locals, becuase the meta doesn't exist there. However there is a lot of burn...

I really need to visit my locals to see what the meta is like.

Just picked up a Toolkit from Walmart. Finally got me a Thragtusk, and an idea for a Modern build that will inevitably be horrible. Anyone feel like testing it to confirm?
