Alright. Been a decent day.

Keep forgetting to sort out me magic stuff again after the cat messed then up by savaging the box...
I hate the thing sometimes.

I feel like I need to sleep soon. I feel iritated and I dont like that. Stupid past self staying up until 11 PM on a school day.....

Kicked some a** at DeVry today. Using a deck that was not mine. Mono-black Vampires. If I had more time over there, I would have totally netdecked

That is a slightly silly thing to do.

I don't feel that tired, but I think I'm coming down with a cold which sucks. Alas, I will endure it.

I need to work on this whole playing MTG irl thing...

And gdi why will the coolest deck (GW Midrange) be so bloody expensive next format? :c

Probably becuase most people see it as the coolest deck

(Although I prefer my Golgari GB Sacing deck )

I wonder if there was ever a block where the best decks were cheap?

Yeah, I know right

I'll try to pull all the cool cards from my booster box though.

But the stuff in RTR isn't the expensive stuff.

Heck, you can check my build in the MTG decks section, the price is all gonna be in Thragtusks, Resto Angels, Entreats and Garruks.


On a really unrelated note, I noticed I have one of the higher reps, and I've received probably the most negs, lol.

Someone got -300 reps on DGz in 1 thread in like 2 days. You all lose to Swap Frog.

So Im planning on trying out some sort of EDH deck based on artifacts, only I have no idea where to start. If Dae were online right now I'd ask him but seeing as he's not I'll ask you guys. What are some of the best Artifacts?



Edit- On a side point I have just noticed I now have 2000 posts.....cool.

And I haven't really looked into the deck much, at all, it just seems kinda boring.

I'd rather stick to the general "massive stuff" EDH provides.

Which basically means I'll only play Riku or tribal Karrthus.

Anyone have enough free time to have a learn-by-doing EDH duel wth me? xD

Not much to learn in-game except:

40 life.
Commander is separate from the deck, and can be played whenever you can feasibly cast it.
It costs 2 extra mana each time it dies (each time it dies it becomes separate again).
If you deal 21 damage with your commander to a player, that player is out.

Everything else works the exact same.

Of course there's also the whole Commander must be a legendary creature and your deck can only use cards corresponding to its colours and no part of those cards can move away from that.

Deck limitation is fine. I netdecked from Rod. It's just the in-game stuff, which is pretty simple as it is there.

Chris, did you forget? Land can only be used if it taps the colors your commander has. Of course, you can use land that taps for colorless.

Well I read it wrong, or assumed. When I read it, I thought you meant colored cards.
