I used to own a bunch of Old-Gen consoles, including a couple of rares then my step-dad came along and threw 'em all away.

I consistently find myself playing the Nintendo 64. It has, by far, the best and most diverse titles. It's literally my favorite system. Banjo Tooie, Super Mario 64, Gex 3... Amazing.

Holy sh*t. Talk about heartless.Serenade wrote:I used to own a bunch of Old-Gen consoles, including a couple of rares then my step-dad came along and threw 'em all away.
All the consoles I owned in sequence are the PS1, PS2, Gameboy Color, Gamecube, Gameboy Advance SP, DS, Wii, and PS3.
But I've always wanted to get my hands on a N64, mainly for Super Mario 64, DK 64, MK 64, OoT, and Pokemon Stadium.

I remember owning a Gamecube. Left it at my last foster house though.

The highlight of getting the Gamecube was Melee. When I started playing it, a combination of nostalgia and satisfaction hit me.

I played NBA Street 2 and Mortal Kombat. I also remember having a N64 when I was about 3. Mario was a blast back then.

I've only played a Gamecube once, and only played a couple of games on it. Melee was one of them and I ended up being about as good at it as I am at Brawl, even though I've never picked up a gamecube controller prior, and Soul Calibur, where I basically beat my friend that's supposedly really good and plays it tons by just mashing buttons.
Although I'm fine knowing I grew up on a PS1/PS2. Especially since my PS2's been working perfectly for 11 years now.

I've always been a fan of the PS2. It reminds me a bit of my childhood.

Main PS2 games I remember were Dynasty Warriors 4 & 5, Rayman 3, DBZ Budokai 3 & Tenkaichi 2, and Star Wars Battlefront 2.

Heartless? Hardly.
I never used them during the period, and he didn't understand that old consoles were something of a treasure, as it were.

I was raised a Ninty Fanboy. Parents had the Nntendo, then SNES, then I got the N64, then Gamecube, then Wii.
Also have most handhelds of the same thing.
I also had a PS/PS2 and got a PS3 at Easter Time, though I'm not able to use it right now due to gparents house.
Only systems I can't stand are Xboxes. I had an Xbox and it just sucked, for me. Anything I want is on PS/Ninty, except for maybe one or two things, so no reason to get a third.

Nothing compares to the fun I used to have with Tony Hawk and FIFA Street 2 on my PS2.
When I first got a gaming computer, my main memory of it was playing a lot of NFS Pro Street.

I do.
In fact, I still play Yugioh Forbidden Memories to this day.
In fact!, the first time I COMPLETED Forbidden Memories without cheats was on 2008, and then later on 2011.

Forbidden Memories? Out of interest how does one emulate that? I always loved it and my disc is sadly no longer playable.
