Re: Dragonball Z Evolution
This movie was crap even if you haven't seen the show before. But that crap was multiplied by 10,000 if you had.

I'm sorry but I don't understand why the directors decided to make Goku into some teen from America, it makes no sense to mean.

Re: Dragonball Z Evolution
Even disregarding the terrible adaption of the film, its story and characters were just...so badly written.
But seriously, Master Roshi's supposed to be a bald guy with a Gandalf beard, not Mr. Miyagi.
(Hope that doesn't sound racist)

I didn't even watch it and I already know it's shit.
Hopefully the new one in March 2013 is better.

Ha, that's hilarious, Rodrigo! Imagine if they actually made a sequel to this thing, ugh.

Re: Dragonball Z Evolution
I haven't watched it, so I'll do what usual people on the internet do, just hate on something before they try it, insult someone, tell them a petty comment about their mother, who is really a nice person, all while continuing a pointless argument that could've been avoided just by watching it, then judging it. But in this case, I didn't think I needed to watch the whole movie to tell I didn't like it. Those of you who like it, good for you, but in my eyes, it didn't really seem all Dragon Ball Z to me, just some weird Action/Adventure movie with a sunburned bald man trying to collect balls and make a wish from them, while being stopped from a high school ''nerd'' who goes from zero to hero. The character's didn't fit at all to me.

Re: Dragonball Z Evolution
I am going to express my view on the movie by not comparing it to the original source material. The reason this film was so poorly made was simply that James Wong was directing, you needn't really say anymore than that. He is a terrible director whose innate sense of variety and characterization are bad in their own right. From the atrocious action movie "The One" to the ghastly Final Destination's 1 & 3, Dragon Ball Evolution was simply a mismatch of two genres that James Wong was unable to connect due to his lack of any talent whatsoever.
