Absurd amount of power for simply dropping a reflection in your hand. ... That's about it, really. It's very outclassed by The End and it doesn't help that the Counterblast is more expensive.

Yeah i wish it was lowerd down to 2, plus since you had PBD before it you might not have 3 to counterblast anyway.

Well I don't think Shadow Overlord decks tend to use Damned Charging Lance that much because they're saving for Phantom Blaster Overlord. If one were to aim for both, that is some very tricky timing and plays you'd have to make with Cursed Lancer or a Heal Trigger. If you push at 5 damage, your opponent will just see it coming.
