I have no idea why this became a meme or why people became obsessed over it.
The show is hilarious and enjoyable to watch, I'll admit that. Just... seeing how people act over it is a huge turn-off.

I'm neutral most of the time. The rest, I enjoy the memes they are use in.
I've watched the first six episodes. I didn't care to watch after that, I'll be honest. But it wasn't bad. I just didn't get the feel for it.

It's the goddamn Internet. And the show did differ in quality and amusement from other shows. I rarely watch the shows now, but they're still good and I enjoy the memes.
