I'm not creative with deck names.

Also, I adore Enter the Infinite, Omniscience, High Tide and Mind's Desire so this deck seemed perfect for me. Some slight budget cuts since this is only on MTGO, I intend to have things like Mystical Tutor, Sapphire Medallion and Serum Visions when I build this irl.

It may be better to just play Talrand as a general since he's a super good win condition, but I love Thieving Magpie too much.

    4 Lu Xun, Scholar General

As someone who is a fan of Storm and High Tide, I find this deck incredibly fun to play, and while it's a little abrupt and a bit of a killer for the opponent when you just have the Enter the Infinite kill it's still great fun when you have to find another line to kill. For example, earlier today I ended up comboing off with Talrand and ended up with about 20 Drakes in play and cast a Time Stretch. I also had Enter the Infinite discarded only to then combo off with Omniscience, Petals of Insight (returning it to my hand each time) and then Mind's Desire for my entire deck and won with Lab Maniac.

I'll admit, he is a lot more vulnerable to spot removal, but I will point out saying he has nothing to do with the rest of the deck is plain false. It's a combo deck, and a combo deck wants to draw cards to combo with. Also, I like Lu Xun enough more than I want to play him over Talrand, regardless. Talrand would force me to run fewer lands as to have a larger number of spells to hit a critical mass for him (in testing, Lu Xun is the sole reason the deck keeps having gas a lot of the time), which makes the mana less consistent.
