Have you considered Magma Jet/Anger of the Gods? It's been testing fairly well in the list my friend is going to be playing this Monday.

Anger of the Gods is way too red heavy for this, and just isn't required.

I'd be playing some number of Jets if I had any.

Very much a large overhaul for the GPT on Sunday (Psychic Spiral variant just wasn't cutting it).

Managed to borrow an Elspeth so I feel the deck is definitely powerful enough. Feel like the deck's got a serious edge over other control decks against the aggressive field I'm expecting. Midrange matchup is as good as U/W's is, while being a little worse than Esper. Control matchup is better than U/W's in the sense I have Counterflux. Overall not much change in the control matchup. Esper has Ashiok as the edge in that matchup. Overall, UWR has the best rogue matchups though thanks to its removal suite hitting all the creatures that realistically show up including Blood Baron which may be important. Obzedat is harder to deal with in UWR than Esper, however.
