We know Coleman arrived earlier than expected. It was previously discussed the new Companion would make her first appearance in this year’s Christmas Special and that may still be the case. At the Season 7 premiere I attended in NYC, Executive Producer Caroline Skinner said casting Coleman as Oswin in the episode was just a last minute genius idea by Moffat. It was certainly a pleasant surprise but it doesn’t necessarily mean that Oswin and the new Companion are one in the same. We’ve seen actors utilized on the show (and Torchwood) more than once.

The next episode is named "The Power of Three", focusing more so on Amy and Rory than ever before as a "celebration"(as wikipedia describes) before their final episode. It will tell the story of how the Doctor influenced their lives from their point of view. It will also feature UNIT.

This leads me to believe it'll be a bit of a Doctor-lite episode since it focuses on the companions.

Also:

"The Power of Three" was filmed by itself in the series' third production block. Because of this schedule, it was the final episode Gillan and Darvill filmed as Amy and Rory. Their last scene filmed together was getting into the TARDIS with the Doctor; when the doors closed Gillan, Darvill, and Smith hugged and started crying.

So we know the bad ending isn't going to be the Ponds dying.
The ending is the final scene, so in the timeline of the episodes, this is when they leave. The next episode explains how things escalated to their departure.

The last scene filmed was the doors closing, but the scenes in an episode are filmed out of order in most cases. So it could be or it could be a different end. I'd have no idea. If they don't die, I feel it'd be a big cop-out.

I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I haven't got up to the Eleventh Doctor. On Season 4 I believe, after Martha Jones, I saw the Christmas Special, ''Voyage of the Damned''. I'll get into it on the weekend. So far, David Tennant is my favorite. ''People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff.''
