Vermillion Thunderbolt loses a huge amount of power the later the game goes on. Narukamis want to race you with it, essentially.

Still a very good card IMO. Base 11k always helps.

The one thing I'll say about Vermillion Thunderbolt is that it does drop some insane pressure on an opposing player depending on its timing, and if the player's using something like Gold/Royal Paladins or other RG-heavy clans, it's going to hurt their hand advantage regardless of whether they protect their Vanguard. I've always felt it's more of a card to help you set up for Final Turn with Thunder Break or another Narukami.

11ks are pretty important in ECG right now, so that's contributed to a fair chunk of its popularity. That's not to say it deserves the hype it gets, because I still think Overlord is the superior Dragon when comparing counterparts. Still, it hits 21k with Photon Bomber, and that's a key number right now when handling other 11k Vanguards.

You want to use this to cripple sooner, rather than later, like Chris said.

Also, this is really one of the only reasons to play Narukami right now. :l Hopefully BT08 changes that.

Nah, he beat me a couple times, I just beat him like... 8 times.

This is the sole reason why I hate Narukami right now.

This card is hyped to high hell by cfc, but now I see that I really can't blame them. The more I play the deck, I realize that this is really the only exciting card they have. Vermillion Thunderbolt is pretty boss, but the deck isn't worth anything if this is the only good card.

Narukami: Attack of the Stock Cards.

I havn't really seem that much of it on CFC but that just might be because I dont have anyone to play and just do random most of the time.

Saishin's a good card too, y'know.

Saishin and Vermillion are the only two cards to really worry about in Narukami off the top of my head. Most other stuff that you see isn't really much of a threat/that different from other clans.
