    It requires Photons for materials.
    It's utter garbage.

The only good level 4 Photon monster is Thrasher. Crusher is almost useless, Circle is just bad. The only other way is to use Satellite with one of the two Level 3s. Unfortunately, Lizard is bad and Sabre Tiger is only mildly good in the Photon/Galaxy deck.

Like Dem said, it's currently trash. The only way to redeem it is more good Lv. 4 Photons.

No, but seriously, it's a good tech to accelerate GEPD over Photon Sanctuary.

Yes, Jeremy and I play the deck more than anyone else, and we both agree that Crusher and Lizard are bad, because they don't help the deck's flow and they actually decrease consistency.

    RotA exists.

So you're running a card that already has 3 targets. Why are you running a fourth that doesn't add ANYTHING to the deck?

    ... Photon Thrasher.

    3x Thrasher, 1x RotA

Why do you need Crusher after that?

Because you can fetch Crusher to go into whatever the hell you want, including this thread's namesake.

2k Level 4 beaters aren't that bad, either.

The point they're making is that Crusher adds no consistency, and is just a 2k wall that doesn't do anything for the deck at all. Having Crusher for stuff like Excalibur, Blade Armor Ninja, and Galaxion is nice, but there's not much reason to rely on him when there's better options to make better stuff.

    That's how I'm reading it.

Do you know how the current gamestate works, at all? ._.

A 2K beater that requires a Normal Summon to be used is NOT good, in any way. I mean, hell, Alexandrite Dragon is a fairly BAD target for Rescue Rabbit. The only redeeming factor is that its LIGHT, and even then that's not much of a redeeming factor when, say, Artorigus exists.

Being a Warrior for RotA is hardly a defense because you'll never, realistically, want to summon it. 2K is no better than 1900 in the current gamestate for the most part.

Crusher adds NOTHING to Photons unless it's Photon Drain, and even then it seems iffy.

    To sum it up:
    1. It's too slow
    2. 2K is insignifigant when it eats up an NS
    3. Its only redeeming factor is its namesake, and that's hardly enough reason to run it

3 targets for RotA is the perfect amount. Running a 4th that will just dead draw or combo with another existing RotA target is bad deck building.
