So this is what Lily and I have coined the "DeathDark" deck. Mainly centers around Deathrex as main Vanguard until late-game, in which your opponent starts dropping heavy guards. You use that opportunity to pop all your power to your booster, which should be Sonic Noah, using triggers and the Winged Dragon cards, all so that your swing with Dark Rex can be threatening in more ways than just having an extra twin drive.

Thinking about switching a few of the numbers, and I'm hesitant to keep Cannongear in the deck except for the fact that it + Beamptera can hit crossrides.

Assuming Savage didn't work out.

Well, you have to look at it the way Lily did when I initially tested Savage. Savage does become a 9k booster (10k if you also play Cannongear during the turn), but it's mostly a one-time thing, so it becomes a 10k without true purpose. At least Skyptera can bounce to the hand, y'know?

She also turned me on to the g1/g2 Winged Dragons, which pretty much make up for the retire boost Warrior would get and then some. So, it's hard to fit it in the deck when you consider what this deck is trying to do in general.

Especially when you know that Deathrex swings for 23k with Noah until you want to ride Dark Rex.

Done some tests with the entire build, minus the heal swapout.

3 Cannongear is much better than I thought. Static 11k is always relevant. Pachy has no place among Megarex and Slashptera, and the numbers Dark Rex's booster can hit, regardless of the target, can be crazy.

Did change the numbers on the triggers, though. -2 Trilobite +2 Tiger.
