Free games on PSN

Free games on PSN for PS+ members. Are they worth it?
Personally, I can't say I play them as much as I should. I just downloaded Bloodrayne Betrayal and Outland, which are both sidescrollers, and I feel like they are free for a reason.

Anyway, discuss.

And I'm pretty sure Demos and Trials don't count as free games.

I dunno, cause Halo is awesome?
That's pretty much the only reason why I want an Xbox: for Halo, Minecraft, Trials: Evolution, and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD.
Speaking of which, when the hell is it coming out for PSN? I wanna play it for nostalgia purposes.

Because Gears and Halo?

I like it because of the Social connectivity and being able to talk to multiple people playing different games all at once, unless the PS3 does that, then I'd save up for one and get the iDOLM@STER 2 Demo.
Now I suddenly feel like making an Xbox Thread just for the sake of adding everyone from YCM CGC to my Friend's List, lol.

I have an Xbox because the games, and the console, are cheaper than the PS3 here on Brazil. I could find retail (but old) games for 15 dollars (which one of them was Halo Wars :3).

And because I love Forza.

What are they, big retail games?

As a PC gamer, there are stupidly-amazing free games available to me all over the place. If they're just giving you free mediocre $2 games, I really wouldn't care much.

Well after much abuse from my 3 year old brother, our old old old white Xbox can no longer play disc, so we just download games until we get a new Black one that my parents stopped renting, and I'll see if they have Forza 3 On Demand so I can send the Decal. I also made the Laval Logo, but it's meh at the moment.

Our XBox has that Vigilante 8 re-make on it.
I absolutely love that game.

I feel as though we should just really make an Xbox, PS3, and Wii thread, but it gives me mixed feelings.

PSN for PS+ is giving you amazing retail games. Currently only one was a $60 freebie (Ratchet and Clank or something iirc). The rest are best sellers or cult classics. Like:

Little Big Planet 2, Just Cause 2, Infamous 2 (not sequelitis stuff it's genuinely a great game), that Ratchet and Clank Game, both Walking Dead Games, Outland, etc. EU gets a slightly different choice of free games as well. Currently as well, we got immediate access to the Dust 514 Closed Beta which is awesome.

Yeah it is, and in my case having both is amazing. $20 for 3 months of PS+ and a PC that can play moderately high res games. Though the only game I want atm is Mount and Blade on the PC.
