Anime and sometimes manga club

Almost had a god damn meltdown when F/SN had f****** dubstep in it.

Why can't we just use the Realtea Nua patch OST instead of this "new" dubstep shit. I am legit f****** upset over this like I don't think some people understand.

This is why a Toonami Stream would be awesome, we'd get more people to talk to every week and I wouldn't be stuck if someone else is using my TV.

I'd be alright with that, but I'd rather not talk to other people about Toonami because I know that the people that would be in the chat would not be so chill about anime as we are.

So anyway. I've been watching a show called Genshiken recently. It's really awesome. It's basically about a group of Otaku in 2004 Japan who sit around in a room talking about the habits back then  

It still holds up really well actually.

A new shop is opening up in my town called Rare Drops. It's a "Retro Videogame/Internet Cafe/Social Club" for Retro Video Games, LAN Tournaments, Internet Cafe, Free WiFi, Social Club for Geeks & Nerds Pop Culture Fans.

The owners apparently have been in talks with some locals about having Anime and Doctor Who screenings. Has me really excited

This makes my city have a sort of Geek Hang out street. We have a Local Gaming Shop, Pizza Place, and Retro Gaming Store all in one little area

Nice. I'm pretty jealous if I'm being honest. There's an anime soceity at the university I go to, and I was pretty relieved when they weren't actually watching Naruto/Bleach. I would kill to have a local gaming thing though. That would be amazing!

Yeah, I hear you on the Naruto/Bleach thing. What's the point of an Anime group watching a show almost everyone's already seen or heard of? 


It took me a while to ever hear about the areas of my town, guess that's what happens when everything goes by word of mouth.

So, DBZ is replacing Bleach in 2 weeks, and we get Inuyasha The Final Act at some point.


Don't really care about DBZ, but Final Act should be nice.
