A semi-general purpose Battleroid that was produced in the middle of the development of the Raizer Series. At first glance, it looks like a refitted “Raizer Custom” from the middle of its production cycle, but in face, improvements have been performed everywhere. It uses armor that emphasizes lightness over strength, only using the conventional heavier materials for its cockpit cover and fists. It specializes in close range spring attacks (attacking and then withdrawing before being hit), making up for the reduction in joint strength by reducing drive parts. It also includes a highly advanced attitude control system, allowing for manual rough adjustments, and folding the wings on its back. Despite this, it’s been considered a poor model as it puts a large burden on the piloet, and it’s generally been determined that Raizers are generally not designed for aerial combat, so unfortunately a newer model has never been developed. But there are those who still look at it from time to time, seeing if there are improvements to be added, and it is highly popular with some Raizer fans…ライザーシリーズの開発中期に造られた準汎用バトロイド。 一見すると中期仕様の「ライザーカスタム」にバーニアを取り付けただけのように見えるが、実は至るところに改良が施されている。 装甲は強度より軽さを重視した物を使用し、従来の重厚な素材は拳、コックピットカバーのみ。 近距離戦、それも一撃離脱に特化させた事を前提とし、駆動部分を減らす事で関節の強度低下をカバー。 高性能の姿勢制御システムを導入しつつ、手動でも大まかな調整ができるように、背部には折りたたみ式のウイングを収納している。 パイロットに負担がかかる割にバックが乏しかった事や、ライザーの素体自体が飛行戦に向かないと判断された事から、残念ながら後継機が開発される事は無かったが、今でも改良を重ねて搭乗する参加者がいる所を見るに、一部のライザーファンには絶大な支持を得ているようである。
The Raizer Series【ライザーシリーズ】
あらゆる操縦者に対応できるよう、汎用性をメインコンセプトに製造されたバトロイド「ライザー」及びその後継機の総称。 初めて実戦投入された「BR1-0021」、通称「バトルライザー」をベースに、数多の後継機が製造されている。 開発後期には初期コンセプトである汎用性を除外、より高性能な機体の製造がメインとなり、数多くのカスタム機がノヴァグラップルで活躍している。
