List of monstrosities:
- It's a 5/7 Elf Shaman. Unless she's riding a Craw Wurm, she is not supposed to be that strong.
- For one more mana, you get Avacyn. It protects all of your creatures with a better ability, it has flying, vigilance, and +3/+1 stats compared to Emmara.
- Emmara was a top-down design, designed by Doug Beyer and the developers. Clearly, Doug Beyer was drowned so the developers could make it.
- In The Secretist novels, she has military control given to her of the Conclave elementals. One such is seen in the background of Emmara's art. For some reason, she doesn't summon it. Instead, a Mythic instant-hosing deer summons it instead.
Essentially, Emmara probably used to have the Mythic's ability, which development thought: 'ohgawd brokes', adjusted it, put it on the Deer, and gave Emmara something else completely.
