Tajic, Blade of the Legion is indestructible.
Battalion – Whenever Tajic atttacks with at least two other creatures attack, Tajic gets +5/+5 until end of turn.

It...I dont know. It needs two other guys to attack and has no evasion. It's a 4 mana 2/2. but it's also indestructible. I need to think on it.

It has evasion. It's indestructible. It's just not necessarily the best kind of evasion based on the what the format has to offer.

I offered my two cents on this card when I told my friends that a 2/2 for 4 with indestructibility seems inferior to something that absolutely no one wants to block unless it's in their favor (Reckoner). They still felt it was kind of good.

Not really that sure about that.

He will make a great voltron commander. Outside of that, he's pretty bad. Has no evasion.

I don't like him either. Expected better from the Boros.

We just have to wait for Emmara. I'm crossing my fingers on her being good.

The only Naya build viable is Naya Blitz. Naya Blitz ramps to 3. This is 4 mana. It doesn't have haste.

Only reasons you need.

Edit: Although, Naya Blitz does run Ghor-Clan Rampager. Which has combat trick utility.

Seriously, it's too slow and has no evasion for Naya Blitz, and it's too clunky and reliant on over-extension in Naya Midrange. It's just all-around a bad card.

Insane limited bomb though, jeez.

I think that it's too soon to actually value it. It could actually see play after Innistrad rotation, but damn Wizards, why did you made such a dull and boring leader for Boros?

Don't tell me you're surprised the guild of turning stuff sideways and... well that's about all it does, got a boring leader.

Most of the guild champions are limited bombs because that's essentially what playing the guilds comes down to in this format.

Funny thing is that I consider Gideon a better Tajic than Tajic.

Come on, Aurelia wasn't even close of being boring. Or Razia. Reckoner. Hell, even Foundry Champion was pretty dope with his "assbreathing".

Now, indestructibility + selfbuff? That's boring. Even for Boros.

Of all of those, Reckoner does make combat more tricky and I'd even call its effect on the game fun, but the others are just boring, I don't see how they're at all "exciting". Aurelia's just a creature version of a card WotC have been trying to make competitive for years.

Because he's the hero Boros deserves, but not the one players needs right now. So, we'll hate him, because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian. A watchful protector. A Blade of the Legion

Well, that's your definition of boring. You're more of a spell guy anyway.

But a selfbuff indestructible guy is way more boring than an angel that gives you 2 combat phases or an "assbreathing" giant that interacts pretty well with Boros way of swarming the field.
