I'd rather be paying BB for a 5/5 Desecration Demon, or 1UB for a Havengul Lich, or 3UU for a flying 4/5 Fact or Fiction, or... f*** it, Heartless sucks right now. :c
These guys are just bad because they do nothing outside of beatdown, and you want utility and card advantage from any Heartless target. The biggest issue the deck has right now is having no good land base (It always wants to be U/B, possibly splashing for something) and not having a method of winning without Heartless Summoning. Not to mention, midrange is the bane of the deck.
