    Skithiryx the Hard-to-Spell Dragon 79

Been experimenting with this today, and it's actually an amazing finisher in Mono-Black Midrange/Control.

By sheerly running him, he encourages the use of Liliana 3.0, which helps smooth out land drops, making it easier to cast him, but can also make him an OTK. Simply playing him and giving him Haste, then using Liliana's -3 is 10 poison damage.

Shame he's rotating soon, though. Means the fun is almost at its end. :c

One of the best 6-drops in Black.

Even its Commander deck is crazy fun.

You should never be hardcasting this thing without giving it haste.

Even if he was bad, the sheer fact that his subtype is Dragon Skeleton just makes him insanely cool anyway.

    Absolutely :3

Never really played Black in Standard, so never got a chance to play this out.

I'll probably end up trying it in EDH Very Happy

The dragon is also capable of speech, speaking in a deep raspy voice and cries glistening oil tears to infect those who cross his path.

    ...

    He's so damn badass.
