My Mythics:
2 Akroma's Memorial (one foil, which was my second mythic, got at the same time as Jace, and likewise will never part with.)
1 serra avatar.
2 Avycian angel of hope.
1 Jace memory Adept. (My first Mythic, and is one I will never part with through choice.)
1 Thundermaw Hellkite.
1 Sublime Archangel.
And I would never dare mock you Chris. Really, I never would. Never. Ever. In all of time.

I'm sorry.... I won't say anymore of the cards I pull, and just to say. I have never bought a singular in my life, those were all pulls.
And sorry again. I bet the griffons awesome, but I don't know what it does XD.

Griffin is actually terrible.
It's only a Mythic because of the exclusive ability.

Yeah, it's pretty bad and cheap.
Gotta fool someone to trade for another Mythic that is actually good, like Huntmaster of the Fells :3

Wow. Thought it would be ever so slightly more. Not much, but a bit more than that.

I trade you a picture of me holding both of mine for misthollow, doesn't mean you're getting the cards itself.Scarlet Highlights wrote:Yeah, it's pretty bad and cheap.

Misthollow's probably more usable than Army of the Damned, tbh. :c

O.o So rarity mean nothing compared to effect? In part. Ok. That's quite understandable.
And from what I've heard, unless you were trading to someone who had no idea bout its worth, good luck trading it for a good mythic.

Simply put, there's no demand for them, so their prices won't be high.

Someone traded about 15 rare cards for just a Birds because he wanted it.
It also depends if someone wants it too.

The system makes sense.
So then demand is down to: playability and overall power? roughly.
Army of the dammed sounds cool... but from your reaction of it, I don't think its good.

It also matters on supply.HiveNet wrote:The system makes sense.

Army of the Damned is a cool card, it is just never used. Zombies don't usually use tokens most of the time anyways.

Army of the Damned is 8 mana.
It also doesn't make an immediate impact; The tokens come into play tapped.
It's 26 power for 8 mana, sure, but then you realise it's 8 mana, but it dies to any form of sweeper, even something as weak as Whipflare.
Then there's the fact that Grave Titan can be essentially more value and much harder to disrupt for a mere 6 mana.
From there, compare it to things like Massacre Wurm, also at 6.
Griselbrand also manages to outclass it in the 8-slot too.

Grislebrand is fun. Never seen him used, I just like how he can swing a game very quickly.
And it makes 26 tokens? O.o But I assume 1/1 so yeah it can get sweeped quickly.
So a casual card only then. Intresting.

26 power. It makes 13 2/2 tokens.
Casual at best, I wouldn't even use it there though.
Griselbrand doesn't see a lot of play outside of Frites, which has dropped in popularity from what I've seen, and in Heartless Summoning, which isn't even popular, albeit huge fun to play.
