Touhou! A wonderful game series made by a wonderfully drunk guy known as ZUN.

Discuss Touhou and its fanon / canon, which characters are your favorite, and which games are simply the hardest.

I haven't actually gotten to sit down and play a game due to personal reasons. But they're hard as hell by just looking at them on Youtube.

Honestly though, I'm more into the Fanart and Backgrounds. I've learned more about the characters from looking up all the art, which is kinda sad.

As for favorite characters, I'd have to say Yukari, Yuuka, and Cirno.

Yukari and Yuuka are obvious from your sig...

Anyway, while I haven't played any Touhou proper, I have played a Flash Touhou-ish danmaku/curtain fire game that's pretty difficult.

I may start playing Touhou once I deem myself capable of Normal-modo.

Waiting for an english patch on Fanatic Fantasy Weapon Youmu. Otherwise i've only played Perfect Cherry Blossoms (which im horrible at) Scarlet Weather Rhapsody and Unthinkable Natural Law (Hisoutensoku) Which, im meh-ish at.

Favorite characters are Remilia, Yukari, and Iku. I have a bit of a sentimental attachment to Iku as well.

Anyway, does anyone know anything about the Phantasmagoria games? They look pretty interesting.

Also, I'd say that Marisa is my favorite character, with Okuu and Yukari up there as well.

I have heard about the Phantasmagoria games but i know nothing about them.

Marisa is pretty boss, i like her design and personality, but thats all she has going for me.

Vocaloid Otaku is down for the moment, or so it seems.

Still... need an english patch for Fanatic Fantasy Weapon Youmu more then anything... of course you dont actually need to understand anything to play it.

I have not seen this in like forever. I wonder what is the latest game out right now.

I might play whatever is new when I get a new computer.

I also remember never being able to beat Wriggle on Easy Mode.

Scarlet Weather Rhapsody? I haven't played it, but I think the story is something like:

Masochistic "angel" with a peach on her hat gets bored of heaven, Said "angel" then starts various natural disasters around Gensokyo and destroys the Hakurei Shrine, all the other playable characters bar Yukari and Suika confront her about it.

That's as much as I know, but I'd want to play it.
