Ok guys, here's a rough idea I have for Shadow Pokemon. Let me know what you think

Dark Blastoise
Level 8
DARK
Aqua
2300/3000

Cannot be Normal Summoned, can only be Special Summoned from your hand, Deck or Graveyard by Banishing 1 DARK and 1 Aqua-Type monster from your Graveyard. When this card is Special Summoned, Put 8 Purification Counters on it. As long as this face-up monster has 5 or more Purification Counters, it cannot declare an attack. When a Aqua-Type monster is removed from the field, you can remove 2 Purification Counters from this face-up monster. When this face-up monster has 3 or less Purification Counters, the controller of this face-up monster can Draw 1 additional card during each of their Draw Phases. When this face-up monster has no Purification Counters, you can Tribute it to Special Summon 1 "Blastoise" from your hand, Deck or Graveyard. The Special Summoned monster gains the following effect:
- Double the original DEF of this face-up monster.

Hmm that sounds very interesting.

Also, don't forget about a Shadow Pokemon's Hyper Mode; they can end up attacking the controller! =D

Aha! Nice idea, perhaps with 4 or more Purification Counters, you have to toss a coin during each Standby Phase. if you call it right, the Pokemon regains its senses and you can remove 1 Counter. If called wrong, you recieve damage equal to half the Dark Pokemon's ATK.
