Best place to play PSone games is probally a Modified PSP> Almost every PSone game to date is playable on it. (I bought the games on PSN though, spent around $250)

Forbidden Memories? Out of interest how does one emulate that? I always loved it and my disc is sadly no longer playable.

Don't you need the Discs to run PS2 Roms though?

Oh right...and mine is unplayable...crap. I wish my younger self had treated disc's better.

Nope. Also don't expect perfect speed emulation on anything except a High Spec PC. A great Emulator to start with is probally Visual Boy Advance. Plays GBA games like a dream even on lower PC's.

THPS 2, 4, and Underground 2 consumed more game time than probably any other game in my life.

Along with Crash Bandicoot 2 & 3.

Indeed so but I can run TF2 fine, I think a PS2 game won't be anything too harsh.

As long as you can find where to download ROMs, you don't need the CDs.

So it was all right for me to post that? Good.... Emuparadise has games for all different consoles.

FF7 is also ridiculously overhyped.

Haven't played FF, I wouldn't know. So, I recently got DotP. Quite a good game, even though I got the Trial version.

DotP is tons better when you actually get the full version so you can start unlocking everything.

Yea. I downloaded the Trial to see what it was like. I'll get the Full when I get some MP.

I think it's a perfectly fine game and that people overeact to it on both sides. It's not the best or the worst.

The game, itself, is fine.

The story and characters, however, are AWFUL.

Crisis Core forever superior.

I'm probably going to be flamed and shot for this, but...

Crisis Core is the only so much as remotely decent thing to come from the Compilation of FFVII, as far as I know. Granted, it's VII done right, buuuut...

VII is meh beyond revolutionary game play.

The films/OVAs are just bleh, and while I am unsure on the written stories, one of the OVA series was based on part of it, so yeah.

FF7 was one of the very few cases in an RPG where I couldn't get into the story even from the start. The characters are bland, the game itself seemed incredibly monotonous and bland, and I really don't like the combat system. Granted, it's not a bad game, just not a good game. It was just very different for its time and definitely does not deserve all the credit it's given.
