Because Spike Brothers seem to be lacking in the Grade 3's. Well, the Vanguard part, not the Rearguard.
Team Leader, Baalnur | Grade 3
Spike Brothers/Warbeast
Power: 11000 | Shield: N/A
Continuous (V): If you do not have a <Spike Brothers> rear-guard, this units power is -4000.
Auto (V):[Counterblast [5]] When this unit attacks, you may pay the cost. If you do, this unit gets Power +10000/Critical +1 until the end of that battle, and at the beginning of the close step of that battle, retire one of your Grade 2 or lower rear-guards.
Auto (R): When your Drive Check reveals a Grade 1, call that unit to an empty Rearguard Circle.
Not sure if it should be retire one or two Grade 2 or lower rears. Any ideas on what I could do to improve the balance?
