When I first heard of the idea I thought it was silly. Didn't see any reason for the Scotts to want to separate. Haven't heard a whole lot about it. Do recall some concerns about the country's economy if they do split off since the European Union wouldn't just automatically let it in and so on and so forth.

Guess I haven't heard/can't remember enough to really say if it's a bad idea or not.

    Kilts. That is all.

But seriously, they do have their own unique "twang" to their culture alongside the British, which I admire. The Scottish and the Irish share that trait, but given the stereotypes, the Scottish complain while the Irish fight. Complaining is much more comedic.

Waking up and finding your country has voted no: devastating. Finding out Ed Milliband has come out against thevpromised plans for further devolution: a kick while you're down. Discovering David Cameron's no longer agreeing to the promised timescales for devolution: nightmare.

Well done old and the middle class, you've successfully fucked the young and the poor in yet another ballot.

I think I'm actually sick of the idiots in both Westminister and Scotland.

So long Mister Salmond, I hated you and thought you were a bit of a twat, but you have done more as a politician than the last 3 prime ministers combined. I salute you for doing Scotland some amount of justice.
