Don't care what anyone says, Mohrbacher's Pharika art is the best of the god arts (Mohrbacher and Eric Deschamps should have done all of the god arts. Except Heliod, Jaime Jones did a great job on him).

I think we can all agree Eric Deschamps just needs to do even more art work, tbh.

I wonder how much life a GW card would need to give you to make up for the Card Disadvantage of playing it.

Yeah, gain life effects should stick to being a side effect that just makes an already good card slightly better.

Like Centaur Healer and Kitchen Finks

I think Renewed Faith and Sphinx's Revelation are perfect examples of good life gain spells.

Yes, those would be better. I just listed the first two that came to mind.

Last standard season left Healer in my head and pod left the Finks.

Well I said spell specifically, because it's hardest to put life gain on an instant or sorcery and have it be good.

According to Maro, that Elspeth/Ajani art is from a "new cool card that features a new mechanic".

I'm super excited for this. Ajani is my favorite planeswalker and it's awesome that he's coming back after having been absent for so long.
