Melira got more of a boost from Deathrite than anything else, tbh. It just have B/G/x decks an extra way to interact with some of Pod's combos.
I really do like how WotC have finally realised they need more aggro decks with consistent results than just Affinity.
Bitterblossom seems interesting. Can't see any real use for it outside of BW tokens. That said my only experience with it is in Mono-Black and Zombardment in legacy, of which it was decent in the former and horrible in the latter. Unfortunately, legacy doesn't translate well to modern, so I have no idea if it'll be too good or not.
Sylvan Primordial getting banned in EDH is kinda funny, tbh. The thing is that the problem with Primordial will always be constantly blinking it for value and combos with Deadeye Navigator etc. Its manner of winning the game works the exact same with something like Acidic Slime where the slime ball is just less of an obvious threat. I don't really like Primordial deserved it but it is kinda like Prime Time in the sense that games quickly become a Clone fest with a million Primordials. I know this from personal experience borrowing a friend's Edric EDH deck for a tournament.
