Creature — Archon
Flying
Whenever ~ attacks, you may return target enchantment card from your graveyard to the battlefield.



Creature — Sphinx
Flying
Inspiration — Whenever ~ becomes untapped, reveal the top card of your library. If it's an artifact, creature, or land card you may put it onto the battlefield with a manifestation counter on it. It is an enchantment in addition to its other types.



Creature - Demon
Flying
{B}, Sacrifice another creature: Regenerate ~.
2{B}, Sacrifice two other creatures: Destroy target creature.



Creature - Dragon
Flying
1{R}: ~ deals 1 damage to target creature. That creature can't block this combat. Activate this ability only if ~ is attacking.



Creature - Hydra
Tribute 6 (As this creature enters the battlefield, an opponent of your choice may put 6 +1/+1 counter on it.)
When ~ enters the battlefield, if the tribute wasn't paid, you may have ~ fight another target creature.

Obviously all Limited-only rares.

Of the mechanics, Tribute is a punisher mechanic so is a bit bad but the flavour is awesome (every single story of the Minotaur and sea monsters and sacrificing random people to appease them is coming back to me). Inspiration has the potential to be very good (Ral Zarek is the immediate abuser), but we'll have to see.

The Sphinx might be alright in some combo-y EDH decks. It's not hard to get infinite untap triggers.

Tribute isn't necessarily even "a bit bad". As the green rare stands, it's a 6/6 Shriekmaw or a 12/12 for 6.

That's by no means bad in limited. Sure, it depends on what other things get it, but I feel it's going to be a mechanic people disregard early then realise it's not actually that bad. As much as I dislike Green, I'd like to see something like a 2/3 for 1GG with Tribute 2, if not paid draw a card.

Tribute seems interesting. Seems like it's going to need some lower numbers though to get an  opponent to choose it, that or bigger effects.
