A lot of professionals are speculating the card to be a decent card in the new format in Bant Control. Probably not a key card, but perhaps an interesting tech. I'd personally love to see it being played, because it's pretty awesome, but I though I'd get other feedback. Flash is good, swinging for 3 is decent especially with two forms of evasion, and with other good control creatures rotating out. And it turns Sphinx's Revelations massive, and providing incremental life (and it has that funky Archangel of Thune-Fathom Mage-Horizon Chimera infinite combo, which is a little hopeful).

    Thoughts?

I think Bant control will be non-existent. So that sums up my opinion on this card for standard.

Kind of with Chris on this one. As optimistic as I've been for a large number of decks, the list of which Bant has made, it kind of fell the part the moment I realized that it's heavily combo-based, and the loss of Thragtusk has very nearly killed green as a color of control. Decks with blue and white, if they want a third color, would much rather go the route of red for Steam Augury/Magma Jet/Stormbreath Dragon, or black for stuff like Ashiok/Blood Baron/Obzedat.

As for the card itself, it's okay...I mean, I don't see why Thune Beat needs a third color, even if it is an infinite combo, but whatever.
