Because I had the best game ever by topdecking it.

Me at 4 life, him at 2. He has 3 Creeping Tar Pits online. It's his turn. He plays Fall from Rise // Fall to discard my only card in hand (Cryptic). I use it for counter/draw. He uses his own to counter and bounce my Golem token, making him able to use only one Tar Pit. He attacks and I'm at 1 life. My board is Birds, Blade Splicer and lands, and he has nothing on the field.

...then this shows up.

OT: Card is Good but too expensive for me

Really due for a reprint in  some kind of product soon.

Because Bant turn two into a Geist isn't already really good, let's just give it a +1/+1 when it attacks next turn and swing for 7.

Anyways, if it doesn't get a reprint soon, I'll honestly quit playing. It's one of those cards that are waaaaaay too overpriced for what they do. How much is it currently, $50?

It's still 28 dollars, but that is extremely expensive, indeed.

...that's still much less than I thought.

I've had amazing games against Hierarchs.

Can't said I've had a ton of fun playing them but oh well.

And to be fair, this seriously does not see the play its price tag suggests, it's pretty stupid really.

Usually cards just continue to go up rather than down. That kind of stopped being played as much since Deathrite did its job and better, almost.

Infect isn't as big as it was, which was really the all star deck for this card. Ever since Second Sunrise banning, this card has been seeing less play. It does see play in Kiki Pod, and somewhat of in Merila Pod. Hardly in Melira Pod since Birds of Paradise and Deathrite Shaman do exactly what Melira Pod needs on Turn 1.
