I've found control generally lacks a couple of major things, at least in Grixis colours.
a. Early blockers; Augur is useless in a format of X/3s, and he's far too good at tucking your own win conditions, which is devastating when you only play a few.
b. An explosive way to end the game at any point. Nivix Cyclops fixes this issue perfectly, while being a good blocker and not requiring infinite mana like AEtherling and Olivia do.
c. Dealing with Planeswalkers. Outside of burning them and Dreadbore, Planeswalkers are ridiculously resilient once resolved. Outside of Tamiyo, Garruk and Sorin (and Garruk/Sorin's really easy to get through to with almost any removal spell) Cyclops bashes Planeswalkers very efficiently.
Cyclops also makes straight-up instant-speed draw better, since he gets pumped into a massive 4/4 blocker during combat, this also helps when dealing with Bloodrushed creatures, since Cyclops can easily trade with them for a good ol' 2-for-1.
So, naturally, this deck has a few tweaks specifically due to the Cyclops quartet supporting it to maximise their usefulness.
Everything will be ordered by CMC.
Creatures:
4 Nivix Cyclops
1 Olivia Voldaren
1 AEtherling
Sorceries:
2 Pillar of Flame
2 Dreadbore
Instants:
4 Think Twice
3 Doom Blade
2 Desperate Ravings
1 Izzet Charm
1 Searing Spear
2 Dissipate
1 Inspiration
3 Far // Away
2 Turn // Burn
Planeswalkers:
3 Jace, Architect of Thought
1 Ral Zarek
1 Tamiyo, the Moon Sage
Lands:
4 Watery Grave
4 Blood Crypt
3 Steam Vents
4 Drowned Catacomb
4 Dragonskull Summit
4 Sulfur Falls
1 Desolate Lighthouse
1 Island

Sideboard is still a WIP because I don't yet know exactly how well I like Cyclops post-board.
