I mean, Modern Masters is meant to be played in Limited, so it's a reasonable choice. It has some history in Modern decks, but the choice seems somewhat ironic considering the downfall of Eggs.

Yeah, Tarmogoyf and City of Brass were already confirmed.
Yeah, seems fine for limited, it's not like Spellbombs are bad.

Hence why it's ironic, rather than hypocritical.
Still, the team plan their bans far in advance. They would have certainly taken in account future bans when they were developing MM.

Eggs wasn't banned though .-. You guys are heartless to me aren't you?
For drafting, a two for one is really useful. Draw power and creature control. Not bad for limited. I like the return to the spellbombs.
Anyone thinking of a cycle of them or no? I am aiming toward no.

What do you mean, 2 for 1? You can only activate one of the abilties at a time.

2 uses in one card. Not the ability to use them at the same time.Kirino wrote:Skyfall wrote:Eggs wasn't banned though .-. You guys are heartless to me aren't you?

Oh alright, it's just that I use 2 for 1 to refer to card advantage.

Re: [Modern Masters] Aether Spellbomb
Duly noted. I usually refer to it as the abilities in a card. It is versatile, which would be a better term I guess.Kirino wrote:Skyfall wrote:2 uses in one card. Re: [Modern Masters] Aether Spellbomb
Exactly as this is basically a searchable Consuming Vortex with Cycling Staked on it...but good enough for limited...Specially if Some Artifact Support does make it to MM
