Nope, that is amazing sideboard material against BW Tokens in Modern and Lingering Souls based decks in Standard.

This seems way too narrow for modern, and Curse of Death's Hold is a lot less narrow in standard...

It's hard to place a verdict on this card because it's definitely Lingering Souls hate pre-Virtue, not that people run it in Esper Control anyway.
But CoDH is way better, even for +4 to the cost...so...
