If Cipher does become as good as everyone thinks, the metagame is going to favour more counterspells, and then Cavern of Souls will come into play more.

People are overhyping it a bit too much. Especially since it'll all be based around a 1/1 which is gaining somewhat mediocre effects.
I honestly overrated this when I first saw it, it seems really quite eh right now. Tamiyo just does it better since she has this huge pay-off, and this is only really gonna be used for locking down Thragtusks.

Besides, Runechanter's Pike is still better for sheer tempo and far more consistent.
