The reason that this was hit was likely because of
Tanaka Shouta's deck, which placed fourth in the national championship on Sunday, and violates traditional deckbuilding ideas by having only four grade 3s. Bushi wants you to use new cards, meaning CoCo, Battle Sister or Goddess. The reason they restricted both Godhawk and Full Moon is to make her unplayable. They don't want to see this variant with Tsuku as the only grade 3 in the deck ever again. Tanaka's build is actually not an entirely new idea, similar decks have been in use during the team tournaments since FR2012, and back then it was thought that if this Tsuku variant were participating in the seniors or juniors it would be able to beat out The End and other top decks.
Since we've now seen that that's actually
true, and fighters are using Tsuku in a way the designers didn't think of, they're pushing to remove her from the game entirely along with the Alfred-Palamedes deck, which is likewise a loophole deck, not a deck like MLB or The End which is functioning exactly as it was supposed to. The trouble with these restrictions is that they hit casual fighters the absolute hardest, people who got into the game because of the anime and wanted to build a Tsukuyomi deck like Misaki's. Competitive fighters tend more towards The End, while the trick with Tsuku is more one of the only ways she can
stay current than something that's going to overtake the scene. So while pushing for CoCo, Fromage and Goddess, Bushi's screwing over the little guy in the process. This is definitely the least legitimate of the restrictions.
