The reason why The Blood is maxed in comparison to the base form is because against 11ks and if I have Photon Bomber, I don't necessarily have to break my back to Crossride. Vermillion Catastrophe can wreak havoc on 11ks.

I think I'm the only Vanguard player that hates Aermo clones for some reason. Oh well.

Deck seems fine, although I would consider Dragoon VS Hex Cannon if at all possible. It's -1k on attacking, but your columns allow you to hit everything to begin with, so it's the more secure choice. Hexy gets sniped because it's 8k instead of 10k.

Hex being 8k does make it less stable than Thunder Storm, but the point was to be able to swing to 19(with Red River) against annoying shit like Tripp, Burning Horn and the like. Thunder Storm can hit other crossrides at 18, but until Narukami get a 9k Booster, I'm gonna want to stick with a 19k swing for most of the game.

Helena sucks. Hex Cannon Dragon needs to gtfo for Thunderstorm.

I can't think straight right now because Maelstorm just gave me the biggest boner, so that's all I can say.

If Helena is bad, should I go with my original idea of running Raien?

Yes. Raien's just outright better at making 18K columns if you're so insistent on using Hex Cannon.

(Despite that Thunderstorm's still outright better because stable 10K doesn't get you raped during your Grade 2 Ride vs Blasters and Gold Paladin)

If you're using it to fight off Tripps, why aren't you killing boosters with Deathscythe? The point of a THE BLOOD deck is to abuse the 13K Body while sniping 18k columns using Deathscythe. .-.

I was making use out of Thunderbolt/Catastrophe more. :v

The point of THE BLOOD is MOAR VERMILLION.

I'd never run 4 Raien. It's almost always a vanilla anytime except mid game, so I'm honesty hesitant on more than 2 Raien. Deathscythe serves little quality purpose and is a dead draw that doesn't aid the deck's main win conditions.

Run a 4th Vermillion, given the ability to run 8 Vermillion is bananas.

I'm not following how it's all that bananas other than the 13k and having more 19k columns with Red River.
