Whatever it is he's up to, we're all but Pack Rats in his Dragon's Maze. You could Search the City all you want, but you'll never have the Treasured Find that could show what his Epic Experiment is.

Unless you're Selesnya and, for some reason or another, preparing for Doomsday.

Also, Dragon's Maze almost certainly has something to do with the leylines that were shown in the Seven Belltowers story.
