Let's discuss Red's most basic burn spell. Having never seen it in standard how is it? I would think 3 damage for one mana would be good.

Pretty much the pinnacle of efficiency to the point EVERY burn spell will get compared to it.
It's virtually a staple (and even a reason to splash Red) in Modern.

Considering I run 4 in my own Red Modern, I love this thing. This, and 2 Rift Bolts on suspend can f*** people over for the cost of hard casting 1 Rift.
