It's such a strange wording. I've never fully got it really.

Basically, it exiles and counters everything on the stack, right? It's super-cool any way you look at it.

Yes it exiles the Spell from the Stack so it is Pseudo Countered...

Reason why this can Counter the Uncouterable Emrakul...XD

Trés slick. Getting round uncounterables is always insanely fun. And that's when it's not Emrakul.

Not to mention the flavour text. Dat flavour text.

    At first I was confused.

Then I remembered that abilities (minus the uncounterable one) don't apply until after Emrakul resolves.

    Nifty.

Trapmaker's Snare is the most idiotic card ever.

SEARCH FOR A TRAP AND REVEAL IT? SERIOUSLY.

Traps are/were essentially a mind game ploy. By not causing the conditions, players could avoid getting hit by the cheaper costs of the Trap. But, it can/will hinder a lot of actions and result in slowing that person down.

And then there's the fact that Mindbreak is a pretty cheap trap to begin with, so even if your opponents avoid the cost...you can still have an effective counter tool.
