Old trump card tournament.

After reading the recent topic on old trump cards, someone suggested a tournament. So I will do just that.

The Rules:

I'm aiming to get 8 particpants, but will happily accept more. And as I am probably doing something wrong, I am open to suggestions of changes to the rules.

WVXYZ was before light of destruction. So yeah, that seems fine.

So, I select my boss monster from before LODT, and then my deck can be made of cards from all periods?

No, cards must date back from before Light of destruction. That was the intention for this. Becuase frankly, if we use the current staples, none of the boss monsters have a hope of doing anything.

You do understand that if I make an expection for one person, then others will want the same, and the idea of this tournament falls apart. If you don't like how I've organized the tournament feel free to not take part. Insulting me isn't going to change my mind.

You can't use dragoon becuase he falls outside the time period I set. That is the sole reason.

your time period is bad because LODT included some of the last major boss monsters before synchros.

However, it also includes the banlist which attempted to solve those problems.
