Sometimes, you just need a little more fuel for your non-Xyz effects. (Screw Xyzs.) YuGiCo doesn't like me, so it freezes whenever I try to change this card's text.

When this monster is Tributed or discarded as an effect cost, you can activate the card's effect twice. This effect can only be activated once per turn. When a FIRE monster declares an attack on this monster, destroy the attacking monster and inflict 1000 damage to your opponent's Life Points. This monster cannot be used as an Xyz Material.

So I get a few readers, but no comments. What am I, chopped liver?

I just added the burn effect for kicks; considering it's made of petroleum, it'd catch fire easily (duh). Would it be better if I got rid of the Xyz clause?

Four hours is a pretty short time to bump things around here.

As for the card, it's fairly clever, but I can't think of any effects that require tributing a monster that both aren't burn nor archetype specific. You could also add discard effects into the effect as well, which I think would make it extremely playable.

Changed as per suggestions. Also, YuGiCo finally decided to cooperate, so the actual card is up. YCM is still down for some reason.
