Nothing comes easy in this life.

    Nothing.

Everything has a price, and most of the time, a steep one.

It's all up to YOU to figure out if it is worth to try your best so you can get the reward. And believe me, most of the time, you will want to try your best.

People lose their will and faith quickly, but that's not entirely their faults. The environment that surround them is a big part of the lack of will.

Failing is, ultimately, giving up to the sadness and weakness. Everyone has a way to not give up, and it's not hard to find the path. All it takes is belief and faith on your own potential.

I'm sure that you have it in yourself.

Then try harder so you don't fail the next time. Not trying will get you literally nowhere in life.

The only good thing about not trying is you'll never feel the pain of failure, but will always be left with regret.

The joy of success is worth all the risks.

Regret is worse than failure, IMO.

Regret is something you can never undo. The pain of failure will fade. Regrets last so long as the memory of it lives.

One of my biggest fears is failure. Mainly because my friends have a habit of rubbing past failures of mine in my face. Mind you, they were stupid things I said or did, but I hate being constantly reminded of things I try to forget about.
I agree that you should never let it prevent you from taking risks. Like Creator said, you'll learn and hopefully not repeat the same mistake.

Actually on a side note, I'm not so afraid of failing myself, more afraid of failing others i.e if they wanted me to do something and I forgot to do it, or I did it wrong.

Something I learned during my driving lessons: The more paranoid you're about your failures, the easier it is for you to fail.

I'm not so much afraid of failing as I am determined to be as good as I can be. I suppose it's more a hatred of failing than anything else.

I don't care how much you succeed, even an undomesticated ape can succeed over and over again by doing the same thing endlessly. Doing so to me is outright failing at what you are doing.

So for me, failing means "failing to learn something new while doing an activity. Direct failure at the material is irrelevant as long as you get something from it." And that, I am afraid of.

I've always wanted to be number one, yet I'm just Number 2. So I have a big inferiority complex. Sucks to be Asian though...

I can assure you none of you are trying to be me.

Which, as Rod stated, is a failure in itself.

Of course not. I wouldn't want to downgrade.

I would try not to care but then If I tried not to care, I would get bored of not caring.

    Plus I'm a caring person.

Not caring is almost impossible. Unless your are a psycopath.

Its natural to worry for others and yourself, but the amount people worry varies.
