    Since DailyMtG is doing tons of random Standard-based articles, thought I'd propose a little survey.

    Favourite Standard format so far? Personally, either Kamigawa/Ravnica or Lorwyn/Alara. I didn't actually start playing till Scars but I've looked back on those formats and they're pretty good.

    Only just started playing so I haven't seen any other format. I'd assume there'd be better older formats, seeing as all I hear in this one is "Fails Vapor Snag test. Fails Gut Shot test. Snapcaster is broken. Everything that flies is a worse Delver."

    Snapcaster is part of the broken cycle though.
    Snapcaster Mage, Stoneforge Mystic, Dark Confidant, and Tarmogoyf so far.


    I like the Mirrodin to Kamigawa to Ravnica a lot. Same thing as Rai though, I only started to play when Zendikar to Scars was out, I had to look into previous Standards.

    When we saw it was 4 damage on Turn 1, we freaked out.

    Then we playtested it.

    I don't really know about the Standard because I mostly play Casual and Limited, but Bonfire should be banned from existence.
