I've heard of that game, but never bothered to find out the rules. I know there's another manga based on it called Legend of Koizumi, but the series hasn't been entirely scanlated yet.
There any other game anime you like? I'd take a guess at Yu-Gi-Oh!; everyone here seems to have a hankering for that and CF!!V.

I understand it somewhat enough to understand the hax that goes on in the manga, but I still like the characters, so it's good.

And I assume you don't mean video games, then Hikaru no Go? I only got a few episodes in and haven't really read the manga, but I understood the game and the episodes were pretty cool.

Ooooh, Hikaru was a fun manga to read. If you ever feel the need to go back to it, I'd heartily recommend it. It's a really well-done coming of age story, though I think it could have done a better job at explaining the game to those unfamiliar with Go.

And yeah, YGO characters always fell on one side of the equation for me; luckily there was plenty that fell on the likable side.

That and even though it was based arounf a card game... nothing about the game was ever really explained. Stuff just happened in the duels.

So Ive found out my local bookstore holds manga and the like, and they have Spice and Wolf which I have yet to actually read fully I know what Im saving up for now.

I think I would only read an action/adventure manga that doesn't have Comedy/Romance as an actual genre if I really like the anime or something, which that doesn't have. Or I just randomly decided to try it. I also saw the beginning of a review just now and a lot of bloody scenes doesn't make me want to read it knowing it's something that is there. =o

Well, I initially read it because on MangaFox it said it had a Romance genre, so yeah. There aren't really that many bloody scenes. But when there is one, it's pretty bad. Even without romance, It easily became one of my favourite manga even only with 27 chapters.

And no. School Days is horrible. Don't even compare it to that. xD

It does contain a bit of romance, considering one of the villains is in love with the protagonist, but still. REEEAAAAADDD IIIITTTTT.
