Re: Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon
Deserves to, and hopefully will, be limited/banned in September.
It's used in 2 different meta decks: OCG Hieratics and TCG Chaos Dragons. Lotsa people were saying hit the Hieratic King, who also deserves a limit, but now that Chaos Dragons are rising as well, there's no reason for this horrible design to keep on living.
inb4"butdragonsneedit"argument
That's a horrible argument and anyone that uses it knows it =/

I used to think that(the argument) but then I realized it was bad. I like dragons but if REDMD needs to go, it needs to go. Or at least a limit.
He probably will get limited/banned since the banlist is mainly OCG centered and if Hieartics are a problem there....well you know.

TCG Hieratic decks are also pretty good from what I heard.
My 2nd favorite card is... broken, indeed. Has to go/be restricted.

It certainly is broken, and yet it won't be hit until Dragons do more than they have. Chaos Dragons are sacky, and need Lightpulsar and other cards to keep going. If Konami has even a ounce of intelligence (Something I know they do have) then they'd hit something in the deck that doesn't affect Disaster.

Chaos Dragons replaced Wind-ups because consistency and explosiveness and Hieratics in OCG.Soul Savior, NEXUS wrote:It certainly is broken, and yet it won't be hit until Dragons do more than they have. You clearly haven't met Konami.
I remember back in the days when this was just the key card to Hopeless/Disaster, and not much else. Dragons were good, but not... High Tier good. They were fun, but just not one of those strong competitive decks.
Then bullshit happened.
f****** Hell Konami. You just had to go and make all of this insane Dragon Support that only made this flat-out ridiculous. Of course this is going to eventually get hit now, but I'm not happy about it in the slightest.

Re: Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon
I still think they shouldn't have gone THAT differently from the anime.
You can't really call the anime REDMD of REDRUM.

How one goes from a combination of the Metalmorph Evolution concept, a Horus-like effect, and Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon's ATK gain bumped to 400 to this is beyond me.

And why not? Because you don't want it to be? It is the only logical hit and you're crazy if you think otherwise.Soul Savior, NEXUS wrote:This won't be hit. You can't even defend your "Chaos Dragons are sacky" argument, so how the hell can you even have a point?

And then Konami will release another busted exclusive for Dragons when this gets hit.
What? It's Konami.

I would honestly use the argument of how they banned Fishborg Blaster and made Fishborg Launcher, which isn't even remotely as bad as it's predecessor. ... But I can't understand Konami anymore, so what you say may very well happen.

Re: Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon
Why do people always think Konami makes a bad banlist? Seriously. ._.
Deeserves to be banned because it tops the OCG and it tops the TCG with meta-dominant decks.

Not saying they do here. Just talking about how Konami likes to feign ignorance to cards that need the hit.

Re: Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon
According to AllenP Rabbit was tier 0 at the last YCS last format IIRC and it wasn't hit. Konami's latest banlist was kinda a BS money grab but it did address a number of problems.
