- Beast Paladin:
- 4 Alabaster Owl
One of my critical triggers. Should be pretty self-explanatory.
1 Bleugal
The deck's starter. Seeing as how it doesn't really have a way to get out, it almost always gets shafted for RG Snogal a few turns in. But if I can't do that for whatever reason, this still provides food for Garmall's power boost skill.
4 Bringer of Good Luck, Epona
Yet another critical.
4 Margal
My draw trigger, with the skill to move to the soul to power boost. Since I'm not playing Soulboobs.dek, this skill is not readily used turn four or something to set up my soul, as it's not needed then. However, it can still help when pushing for game, provided I have a Rearguard circle open, since ideally four will be occupied by my Blizzard Formation and it's likely that something will be in the fifth.
4 Yggdrasil Maiden, Elaine
Heal.
3 Flash Shield, Iseult
Null.
3 Lake Maiden Lian
Additional draw power alongside Margal. Might drop to 2 for another Marron since it doesn't see that much use and if I need a boost, Marron is better.
3 Little Sage Marron
8k vanilla that you pretty much always want to have. Self-explanatory, might bump to four.
4 Snogal
One of the deck's key points. When you have four on the field, the power is amazing. A column of these with all four out gets you to 18,000. FoL Garmall boosted by this with that same situation is a raw 23,000.
4 Beast Knight, Garmall
The grade two Garmall which doesn't have that much use, and essentially just serves to set up the Formation. After riding this to get to g2, the other g2s will probably be your preferred calls unless you have more than one Snogal to get out after the skill.
3 Blaster Blade
Often called "the avatar" by many on this forum as an Aichi reference, that's not really the case here since Fang of Light. Nevertheless, this is still an amazing RP staple and generally deserves a place in any deck of the clan at at least 3. It's skill is pretty good, and even though the power is 9k, it can still do nice things boosted by 8-9k Snogals.
4 Hi-Dog Breeder Akane
One of my favorite cards, and clearly an important part of the deck's strategy. With all the High Beasts that are integral to it, a card that can easily get them out is very welcome. Oh and also /fanboy.
2 Hi-Dog Breeder Seiran
And here we get to probably the worst g2 in this, who just charges up a Hi-Beast temporarily. I'll probably just test with Gallatin since I'd lose out on 2k, but after that initial turn I'll have an advantage of 2k and keep it, as well as saving a CB.
4 Fang of Light, Garmall
Our main Grade 3 for this deck. It has a skill that can boost your lineup if you still need to when it gets out, as well as gaining a power boost for every Snogal/Bleugal. As I said earlier, that's a raw power of 23k during your turn, which is a pretty amazing offensive force.
1 Gigantech Charger
Really just teching this. I haven't tested much, but chances are it'll revert to what it was before, a third Alfred. I put this in here based on the fact that I might want to swarm more, but I shouldn't actually need this too much in the setup, and I could get ANYTHING from this, so I'll have to see.
2 King of Knights, Alfred
My backup Vanguard. If you don't have Garmall and ride this, you'll likely still have a full field to get it to 20000. If called as a Rearguard, with max Snogals, you're at 19. It's quite a nice card to have, and there's no reason not to, seeing as how it's the standard RP boss outside of the special decks. It also has it's skill, but I generally don't use that often.
