Chain Veil's a weird card to talk about.
When you read the text, it does have a really good effect with multiple walkers out on the table, which makes it seem like it's really good in any variety of Superfriends. But then you get to the activation cost, and what the card asks of you, and...well...
You get it for free with Nissa in theory, but the practicality of having Nissa in something that isn't just mono-green devotion is questionable. And then the card ends up looking like a turn 7/8/9 thing depending on the walkers that you cast, which makes its playability much less viable.
Its potential is immense, and I mean, right now, it's not completely impossible to use well. But post-rotation, I really doubt it, and in most other formats, this card seems really, really bad.
