Because I want Tamiyo to be viable in modern so bad.
Of note, originally the Ousts and Jaces were all Blade Splicers and the deck played more Restos. I felt the deck didn't have enough removal at that point to deal with Jund and Hatebears but didn't want to run any more PtEs. I also wanted more of an advantage engine for those types of matchups. The Splicer always felt awkward when matched up vs Goyfs and Smiters, so the change to Ousts and Jaces were made. The change could be wrong, though, although it also helped with the deck's curve, keeping it lower.
Should note the sideboard is all 1-ofs mostly because I just love sideboards like that, idc if it's not necessarily optimal.
