Initially this deck was playing Anger of the Gods and Steam Augury, but the digging matters very little when you're facing down Stormbreath and whatnot. Preferring Mortars to Warleader's Helix simply because it deals with that card just as well as other X/4s, and boy does it matter.
Board's been rotating the most. Used to be 2 Pithing Needle and 1 Thassa, but with the rise of Connections and Whip, I felt it was better to win those matchups outright. So, I threw Rest in Peace in to completely blank the card except as a lifelink tool, and Pithing Needle only targets things I'm overly concerned about, which seem to become either Connections or Ashiok. Maybe Aetherling, but considering how I have my own, I'd only ever do it if I went to Assemble the Legion.
I'm also feeling like I should do 3 Chained to the Rocks, but there's so little room to work with at this point, I'm not entirely certain how to get there.
And yes, I'm pretty comfortable with the manabase I have up there.
